| OHA Jr. A Toronto Dixie Beehives Affiliate with Hornets U-21 "AAA" Players will have the Opportunity to Skate with Beehives! April 12, 2009 Hot off the press, this breaking news has just given the Mississauga Hornets Hockey Association's U-21 "AAA" program a power boost. The Junior "A" Toronto Dixie Beehives of the Ontario Hockey Association announced their affiliation with our Juvenile program. This affiliation gives the Beehives access to our U-21 players whenever their program has the need. The Beehives and Hornets are both very excited about this new affiliation. This now creates the possibility for our U-21 players to earn a realistic roster spot on a competitive Beehives Jr. A squad. click here for full story |

| Tryout Schedules Posted - Coaching Staff Announced New Prospects Will Take to the Ice in Hopes of Earning Roster Spots! April 6, 2009 It's that time of the season again. Welcome to the start of the 2009-2010 Season. Over the next few weeks players from across the Greater Toronto Area will be competing for roster spots on several GTHL teams. We would like to invite all players interested in wearing the Hornets colours next year to participate in our open tryouts and join our tradition of excellence. The Mississauga Hornets Hockey Association will host nine teams including Minor Atom "AA" through Midget "AA" and one of the top Under-21 "AAA" teams in the GTHL. This affiliation gives players within the Hornets organization an opportunity to look to the future.
